The Coaches Academy will ensure that 20 like-minded coaches across the county are signed up to a two-year programme, that provides them with the opportunity to come together throughout the year and benefit from the support of the FA County Coach Developer, FA Club Coach Mentors, FA Skills Coaches as well as experienced, newly qualified and inexperienced coaches from the Huntingdonshire FA Coaching Community.

Each session will be free and, where possible, tailored to the individual with participating coaches determining the content of each session. All coaches attending the sessions will receive Continuous Personal Development (CPD) hours towards FA Licensed Coaches Club membership.

The Coaches Academy will cost £20 per year to join and will run alongside the other current programmes being offered to support coaches in the County including; the club mentoring scheme, Licensed Coaches Club CPD events, Coach Education and skills teams work which will continue to be delivered.

In order to apply for the Hunts FA Coaches Academy you will carry and uphold the following key attributes:

• Either live in Huntingdonshire FA area or coach for a Hunts FA Affiliated club.
• An open-mind to coaching with a commitment to develop
• An honest, hardworking and trustworthy individual
• A positive attitude with an ambition to give players the best football experience possible
• Excellent communication and organisation skills

This programme will benefit all levels of coaching and we welcome applicants from all corners of football with a variety of experience, working across different age groups and abilities.
