Lets Coach Seminar

As part of Huntingdonshire FA’s on-going support for grassroots coaches we are launching a Coaches Academy the 2017/18 season at our inaugural Lets Co

The Lets Coach Seminar which is free to attend, will provide attendees with the chance to learn more about the new Coaches Academy and also meet with representatives from all areas of coaching via one-2-one mentoring sessions that will include:

Management
Coaching
Grassroots and Community Football
Futsal
Professional/Academy Club Coaches
FA Regional and National Coaches
Football Development

Lets Coach Seminar will take place on:

Date: Tuesday May 2^nd

Time: 7pm – 9.30pm

Venue: Huntingdonshire FA, Ambury House, Sovereign Court, Lancaster Way, Huntingdon, PE29 6XU

The Coaches Academy will provide 20 like-minded coaches from across the county, who will have varied level of coaching experience a two year tailored educational programme, that will provide regular support its members to develop their coaching skills and provide a platform were they can share ideas and best practice.

Progression of individuals will be measured and determined through personal action plans, with members being supported by Hunts FA Staff, the FA County Coach Developer, FA Club Coach Mentors, FA Skills Coaches as well as experienced, newly qualified and inexperienced coaches from the Huntingdonshire FA Coaching Community. The academy will also recognise and assist the Hunts FA to reflect the demographics of Huntingdonshire through an inclusive membership embracing BAME, female and disabled coaches.

The Lets Coach is a great opportunity for all coaches to learn about the Coaches Academy and how they can benefit from it, whilst also meeting a wide range of coaches from different areas of the game, learn how they got to where they are and hopefully pick up some useful information, to help them progress in football.

The Coaches Academy will offer a bespoke, unique and exclusive education, from all levels and abilities of coaching in Huntingdonshire. We envision that this programme will not only support the development of current coaches but engage with those who are interested in coaching but do not know where to start.’
