Andy Coles, Football Development Officer at Hunts FA said: “The girls have loved being part of SSE Wildcats since we started and it’s great to see their enthusiasm and enjoyment. 2017 is a big year for women’s and girls’ football and many of our girls are getting involved in the game at just the right time, with opportunities like SSE Wildcats to join and the Women’s European Championships to cheer England on this summer.”

At the launch of SSE Wildcats, John Stewart, SSE’s Director of Human Resources, said:
“We’re delighted to support The FA in setting up these centres for 5-11 year old girls, where they can come together to discover new skills, make lifelong friends and ultimately have fun”.

“At SSE we believe everyone deserves the same opportunities, regardless of gender. We’re proud to support the SSE Women’s FA Cup; a competition which gives opportunities to clubs across the country no matter how big or small. And its why, together with the FA, we’ve created SSE Wildcats. After all, the game’s more beautiful when it’s open to all.”
