New Women's League to be formed with its base within the Peterborough & District Football League

It was decided at the Peterborough & District Football Leagues Management Committee meeting on the 13th October to investigate the possibility of forming a Women’s Saturday League under the banner of the Peterborough & District Football League
Women’s football is growing throughout the county and supported by the Football Association who are prepared to help and assist Leagues to take this forward. We as a League feel that if there is enough interest we could be in a position to help formulate a new League.

There are opportunities for women within football that are increasing year on year.
There is a Pyramid System for men’s footballs we are keen to advance women’s football to the same level.
