Cambs FA and Hunts FA will be holding five football festivals for the 2009-10 season. The festivals are open to children from special schools and mainstream schools with a special needs unit.
They are arranged on as follows:
- Fri, 9 October 2009 at the St Ivo Outdoor Centre in St Ives
- Tue, 10 November 2009 at the Abbey Astro in Cambridge.
- Tue, 9 February 2010 at the Abbey Astro in Cambridge.
- Tue, 16 March 2010 at the Neale Wade Astro in March. (TBC)
- Tue, 30 April 2010 at the St Ivo Outdoor Centre Astro in St Ives.
These are all commencing at 10.30am until 1.30pm, and will be managed by Cambs FA and Hunts FA coaches.
The tournaments will be split into two age categories;
- Under 12 (approx.) Super League (less able) / Premier League (more able).
- Under 16 (approx.) Champions League.
Rules for the tournament will be based around seven-a-side mini soccer.
